Liane Luke Chief Timber Officer Liane Luke is Managing Director and Head of Timber Investments at FourWinds Capital Management. Ms. Luke founded Phaunos Timber Fund Limited and is a member of its Board of Directors. She also chairs or sits on the boards of all PTF’s subsidiaries. With more than 20 years experience in real asset investing and managing investments for institutional clients, Ms. Luke has spent the last 14 years working exclusively in timberland investing. She devised the Phaunos Timber Fund strategy in response to the needs of its investors, and assembled FourWInds’s world-class team, focusing on forestry and international business management skills. She has managed the execution of PTF’s mandate to build a global portfolio which now includes 14 operating companies and investments in 10 countries. Prior to joining FWCM, Ms. Luke formed Greenway Investments LLC to focus on structured finance and other timberland investment strategies for a major US insurance company. She has served as a principal in a major US-based TIMO, and began her timberland investment career at Hancock Timber Resource Group, where she worked with four other senior members of the FWCM Timber team. Ms. Luke earned her BA magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire and her MBA in finance from the Yale University School of Management.
