Madonna is the Senior Financial Officer for the Team and has been at FourWinds since the fall of 2009. In this role, she consolidates company level budgets up to the Fund level, coordinates year end valuations and assists senior management in reporting and accounting matters. Previously, she worked at HSBC in Guernsey as an Assistant Client Accounting Manager. During her tenure there, Madonna worked on the Phaunos Timber Fund, preparing the 30 June 2009 Consolidated Interim Report and Accounts, gaining valuable knowledge on the consolidated structure of the Fund and its subsidiaries. Originally from Queensland, Australia, Madonna started her career as a public accountant in 1998. She worked for small public accounting firms and then spent two years at Grant Thornton, Queensland in the Business Advisory Services and Wealth Creation divisions as a Senior Accountant. Madonna has worked at HSBC Securities Services in the alternative hedge fund industry. At HSBC she managed the migration of the statutory reporting function to HSBC outsourcing offices in India and Luxembourg. In 2002 Madonna attained professional qualification as a Certified Practicing Accountant, Australia. She has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) with Distinction from Central Queensland University and a post graduate diploma in International Financial Reporting Services from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom.
