Cory joined Fourwinds in 2011 as Senior Asset Manager in the Timber Group. His main responsibilities include; management of: the valuation process, forestry information systems development, and support for acquisitions, dispositions and forest operations.   Prior to joining Fourwinds, he worked for 3 year at US Trust—Bank of America Private Wealth Management as a Specialty Asset Manager in The Timberland Services Group.  Mr. Pruett was responsible for managing timberland assets in the US Northeast, Pacific Northwest and Canada for high net worth investment management and trust clients.  In his role as Specialty Asset Manager Mr. Pruett was responsible for all facets of management including sourcing, due diligence, acquisition, forest management and disposition.   Prior to that, Mr. Pruett worked at Timber Mart-South as a graduate research assistant, analyzing timberland markets and timber product price trends.  Mr. Pruett also has experience working in other forestry roles including timber procurement and inventory analysis.  Mr. Pruett has a BS in Forestry and an MFR in Forest Business, both from The University of Georgia.
